Found a phishing email that was almost perfect last Tuesday
Got an email last Tuesday that looked exactly like my bank's login page. The domain was bank0famerica.co instead of bankofamerica.com. It even had my account number in the footer from some data breach. I almost clicked it before I spotted the typo in the URL. Anyone else seen these super targeted fakes popping up?

Bro that bank0famerica one is scary, I got hit with a "chase.com-support" one last month that had my actual branch address in it. These scammers are getting way too good at this stuff.

Three years ago I got a fake Wells Fargo email that literally had my full SSN in it from the Equifax leak and nothing bad happened because I just deleted it and moved on. People act like these scammers are some kind of masterminds but they're just copying real emails and hoping you panic. The bank0famerica thing is just a typo squatter playing the numbers game, not some genius hacker crew lol. If you have two factor auth and actually check your accounts once a week youll catch anything real before it matters. Honestly the fear around these emails is way overblown, just use common sense and youll be fine.
