Finally found out why my logins kept getting stolen after 3 years

I was using a password manager but still reusing the same 10 passwords across all my accounts. Tried a passkey setup on my main email and bank last month and haven't had a single breach alert since. Has anyone else made the switch away from passwords completely?

@grace_perry44 I get what you're saying, but isn't putting all your trust in one company's passkey system just trading one risk for another? Your 10 reused passwords were a mess, sure, but now you're locked into Apple or Google's ecosystem with no fallback if they mess up.

Heard that about the passkeys, it's like finally upgrading from a flip phone. It's the same pattern everywhere honestly. I see people at the grocery store still punching in their pin at the card reader with their finger hovering over the numbers like it's a secret mission. We all get stuck in these little habits even when there's a way easier option. Passkeys are just the next step, it's like how we stopped carrying cash everywhere and just tap our phones now. It's that whole 'this is how I've always done it' thing that holds us back until something finally breaks.

Ugh right?? It's like people forget that change is literally the only constant, clinging to old password habits is just exhausting everyone for no reason.
