That credit repair radio ad I heard in traffic gave me the wrong idea about my utilization
The guy on AM 760 kept saying closing old cards was smart because it simplifies things, so I canceled my 12 year old Best Buy Visa with a $9,500 limit last Tuesday and my score dipped 34 points in three days, has anyone else fell for that sort of advice before checking with an actual credit counselor?

That radio guy's advice cost me 30 points on an old card too. Now I check everything first.
