I finally got an old medical bill removed from my credit report after 8 months of back and forth
Turned out it was a $187 charge from a clinic I went to in 2019 that they never actually sent me a bill for, but they kept reporting it to the credit bureaus. Has anyone else had success getting old medical stuff removed without paying the full amount?

Only matters when it shows up on your credit report" - yeah, because apparently invisible bills don't exist until the credit bureau sends you a nice reminder.
