A weird thing happened when I finally checked my TransUnion report

I logged in last Tuesday and saw a collection from a $75 medical bill I never got, which tanked my score by 40 points. Has anyone else had a surprise like this pop up from a doctor's office?

Medical bills are the worst for this because they often get sent to old addresses. Did you move in the last few years? The provider might have sent a bill you never saw, then sold the debt. You have to dispute it directly with the collection agency first, not just the credit bureau. What address did they have on file for you?
