Tried writing a story where a character could only speak in puns. My brain broke after 3 paragraphs.

Just switch to writing haikus instead.

Wait, are we acting like haikus are actually easier to write? I mean, I get the joke, but counting syllables is its own kind of trap. The whole 5-7-5 thing sounds simple, but I've seen people butcher a haiku way worse than a regular poem. Feels like swapping one headache for another, from what I've seen.
