Beware that $50 'Flash Fiction Masterclass' email course
I dropped $50 on a flash fiction course from some guy named Derek who promised to teach me the 'secrets to fast publishing'. All I got were three generic PDFs and a link to his Discord that was basically dead. He had over 2,000 followers on Twitter so I thought it was legit. Has anyone else gotten scammed by one of these email courses?

...and that's exactly what I told @grant.luna the other day when someone tried to sell me on their "proven system." I fell for something similar a few years back, paid $75 for a "masterclass" from a guy with a huge following and got basically the same thing - a couple PDFs and a link to a forum nobody used. These days I just stick to the free stuff on YouTube or whatever my library has.
