Basement find: my writing prompts from ten years ago

Honestly, I was sorting through old boxes and found my first writing prompt responses. Tbh, seeing how simple my ideas were back then makes me nostalgic for easier writing days. Ngl, do you ever compare your old and new writing from prompts?

Totally get what you mean! It's like how we look at old photos or listen to music from years ago and feel that way. @williamschmidt has a point that maybe we just see what we want to see in our old stuff too. Do you find this happens with other old hobbies?

It's interesting to look back, but I'm never sure if it's as meaningful as we make it. Sometimes I think we just want to see a change, so we find it. Those simple ideas from back then might not have been better, just less worried over.
