Was running a boom truck on a tight job site in Austin and a hornet nest fell right into the cab

I was parked next to a strip mall off Lamar Boulevard, extending the boom to set an HVAC unit on a roof, when this big paper nest drops from the boom tip and lands on my seat. I jumped out so fast I knocked over my lunch cooler, and my spotter was laughing his ass off while I used a can of wasp spray from two feet away. Ended up wrapping the whole cab in a tarp for 10 minutes and smoked them out with a shop vac hose. Has anyone else had a surprise wildlife moment that stopped a job cold?

That shop vac trick is actually kinda genius lol. But did the tarp actually hold the smoke in long enough or were you just running around chasing wasps for 20 minutes?
