The grease pencil trick that saved a 3 hour load out

Last month we had this job in Nashville where the site super kept moving the landing zone without telling anyone. I spent almost 3 hours repositioning picks that should have been done in 90 minutes. Out of pure frustration I grabbed a grease pencil and marked the planned swing path right on the concrete, plus little X marks for where each load was supposed to land. The super walked over and asked what the marks were, I showed him the sequence and suddenly he got it. He stopped changing things mid swing and we finished the rest in about an hour. I've been doing this on every site since, it's like having a map on the ground that everyone can see and agree on. Has anyone else used ground markings or is there a better way to lock in a plan with a disorganized GC?
