That moment you drop $600 on a new radio remote and it saves your back in one day
I finally caved and bought a used radio remote for my older Grove last spring. Best $600 I ever spent, no more cranking my neck to see the spotter or climbing down for every little adjustment. Any of you guys running older cabs still using a hardline?

Grabbed a hardline setup a few years back for my Terex and honestly I wish I would have switched sooner. The difference in neck strain is huge when you don't have to keep looking down at the cab or yelling across the site. My old remote had a super short cord so I always ended up working in weird positions to get the angle right. Hardline gives me way more flexibility to stand where I can actually see the load without fighting the machine. Plus it's nice not having to worry about batteries dying mid lift or signal interference near power lines. I just coil it up when I'm done and it's good to go.

Is that battery and interference thing really that bad on the newer wireless rigs though? I always figured hardline was a step back until you spelled out the actual neck and cable problems it solves.
