That $60 anti-vibration mat was a complete scam for my cab

Bought this fancy rubber mat from a tool supplier in Houston to try and cut down on the shaking in the cab of my Liebherr. First week felt okay, by the third week it was compressed flat and the rattle was worse than before. Ended up just bolting a piece of old conveyor belt under the seat for free. Has anyone found a legit way to quiet down a rough machine without spending a fortune?

Used to swear by those rubber mats myself, figured the expensive ones had to be better than the cheap stuff. Bought the same kind for my old Komatsu and it was flat as a pancake in about two weeks, just like you said. That conveyor belt trick is genius though, I ended up ripping out the mat and just stacking some old mudflap rubber I had laying around. Worked way better and cost nothing.

Piled on some old horse stall mats myself and never looked back.
