Saw the fatigue ratings on my crawler crane and it shook me

I was reading the manual for my 2019 Liebherr LTR 1060 last night. Came across a section about boom fatigue life. Turns out at max load with a 140 foot boom you only get about 8,000 cycles before they recommend a major inspection. That's way less than I thought. I've been running it hard on a high rise job in Nashville for 6 months now. Have any of you guys tracked your cycle counts or just run it until something feels off?

Track those cycles religiously" is the only way to get consistent results. Once you see the pattern across a few months, you can plan your week around the peaks and valleys. It takes the guesswork out of everything and makes your life way easier to manage.
