Old rig finally gave up the ghost mid-lift in Tulsa
My 1987 Link-Belt had a swing gear failure Tuesday while setting a 4 ton HVAC unit on a roof, sheered teeth scattered all over the turntable. Had to use the load line to swing manually and set the load down safe, took me 45 minutes of pure pucker. Anyone else running vintage iron and dealing with parts that are getting impossible to find, or am I the last guy keeping these old girls alive?
