My $40 one from Target did the same thing after three months. It's like the cheaper ones just fall apart at the seams the second you put any real weight in them. I noticed that with almost every backpack or bag under $50 now, they use this really thin stitching that just gives out. @shah.zara you got me thinking how the whole "buy it for life" thing is basically gone now for anything affordable. Even my last $80 "outdoor" branded bag started peeling at the straps after a year.
