The guy at packet pickup asked if I was lost and it's been 3 weeks and I still think about it
He saw my bib number from the couch to 5k wave and said with a straight face 'you know the sprint course is for people who actually run, right?' at the YMCA in Topeka, has anyone else had to deal with a gatekeeper at their first race registration?

Did he at least give you a good route or just a hard time? I've had race folks assume I'm in the wrong wave before, but honestly, most of them don't know your training from a hole in the ground, so just shake it off and run your own race.
