That one Saturday where everything finally clicked after 8 months of slogging
Last Saturday I did my first 20 mile bike ride on the actual road instead of the trainer in my basement. I had been stuck at 12 miles for like 6 weeks, every attempt felt like my legs were full of sand. Then I switched my saddle height up a half inch after watching a YouTube video from some coach in Oregon, and it felt like a different body. I passed the gas station on Highway 9 where I always turned around before and just kept going. Has anyone else found one tiny gear or seat tweak that unlocked a whole new distance for them?
