My favorite tri suit ripped in the change tent, 400 people watched

The zipper on my only race suit gave out at mile zero during transition in Austin and I had to swim in baggy gym shorts that felt like dragging a parachute, so does anyone else pack a backup suit even if it eats up your gear bag space?

Gosh, my buddy Sarah blew out her wetsuit zipper once and swam the whole race in just her sports bra and shorts.
