Why does nobody talk about how painful buccal fat removal recovery is
I read a comment from some influencer saying it was a quick easy recovery, but my cousin got it done in Miami 3 weeks ago and she said the swelling was brutal for 10 days straight. Has anyone else dealt with that kind of recovery time?

Yeah the swelling sucks way worse than people say. Ice packs were my best friend for the first week. Stick to soft foods and don't even think about talking much for a few days.

The one thing nobody mentions is how much your jaw clicks for weeks after the swelling goes down. I had wisdom teeth out last year and for like a month every time I yawned or took a bite it sounded like a bag of potato chips crumbling in my head. Nobody warned me about that, and I was convinced something was permanently broken in there.
