Vent: I used numbing cream wrong for 3 years until my injector pointed it out

I found out last month you're supposed to apply it 45 minutes before your appointment, not 15, because my injector asked why I was still wincing during lip filler.

wait so you were just sitting there in the waiting room with the cream on for 15 mins and wondering why it wasn't working? lmao i feel like the packaging should be way more clear about that honestly. did your injector explain if the timing actually changes how deep the numbness goes or is it just about letting it fully kick in? i've been doing mine about an hour before with the plastic wrap on top and i swear it makes a huge difference, like i barely feel the needle compared to when i was rushing it.
