Rant: That $5,000 rhinoplasty I got 3 years ago
Everyone raves about nose jobs but mine left me with a crooked bridge and breathing issues that cost me $800 in CT scans to diagnose. Has anyone else had a revision that actually helped fix a botched result?

Oh man that sucks. I got a revision done by a surgeon who specializes in fixing botched noses specifically, not just doing regular nose jobs. He had to rebuild part of my septum with cartilage from my ear, took about a year to fully heal but my breathing is actually better than before now.

...and the thing nobody talks about is how much the original surgeon messed up your internal structure, not just the outside look. I know a guy who had a nose job that looked fine on the surface but the inside was collapsing. He ended up needing a full reconstruction, not just a revision. Most people figure a revision is just another cosmetic touch-up, but it sounds like what you really need is a functional repair from someone who does nasal reconstruction full-time, not a plastic surgeon who mostly does facelifts and boob jobs. The ear cartilage thing the other poster mentioned is pretty common for rebuilding, and it takes a while to settle but it does eventually work.
