Question about the 'Botox brow lift' I saw on social media

I saw a video from a clinic in Miami showing a 'non-surgical brow lift' with just a few units of Botox, and I was sure it was just a filter trick. My injector did it for me last week, and the lift was REAL after about five days. Has anyone else been surprised by a procedure they thought was just hype?

My last injector visit was basically a science experiment gone wrong... I asked for a subtle lift and ended up with two surprised arches that didn't match my face at all. It looked like I was permanently questioning my own life choices. So yeah, the results can be real, but sometimes too real in the worst way. It definitely made me believe the hype is a dangerous thing to follow without a ton of research.

You said you were sure it was just a filter trick. That's because it usually is. Most of those videos are totally misleading. They use perfect lighting and angles to fake a result. For every person who gets a real lift, ten others see zero change. It completely depends on your face and your injector's skill. Social media makes it look like a magic fix, but it's a total gamble.
