PSA: My injector in Austin totally changed how I feel about fillers
Went to a new spot in Austin last month and the nurse talked me into a 'less is more' approach with my lip filler. She only did 0.5 ml instead of the full 1 ml I always got before. The result was way more natural and I didn't look like a duck for two weeks. So I'm curious, do you guys think less product is better or do you prefer that fuller look?

Think about how many things in life we get told "more is better" and it turns out to be a lie. Like food portions at restaurants, skincare routines with ten steps, or even the way we decorate our houses now with all that clutter. Same thing with fillers. People just keep piling it on because they think that's what looks good, but honestly the subtle stuff always looks way better on everyone I've seen. I noticed it with my own eyebrows too, stopped doing them so thick and suddenly my whole face looked right. Its like we're all finally waking up to the fact that less actually gives you more room to look like yourself.

You didn't look like a duck for two weeks" - girl that got me. I did the exact same thing in Houston. My old place would shoot a whole syringe in my lips and I looked ridiculous. This new nurse did half that and I actually like my face. Less is more for real. You still get the plumpness just not the cartoon look.
