Pro tip: I used to ask for "natural looking" lips and got terrible results

I kept telling my injector I wanted something subtle but always walked out looking like I had a duck face. After 3 bad sessions at a chain place in Phoenix, I switched to a nurse who actually showed me photos of what she meant by "filler mapping" and now I just say "give me the same volume as her photo #4" and my lips actually look like mine.

Ngl finding photos of what you actually want is the only way it works.

Totally agree, it's all about getting as specific as possible with your references. What really clicked for me was when I stopped looking for "cool outfits" and started searching for stuff like "layered look with a denim jacket and chunky sneakers" or whatever specific vibe I was going for. Even pulling a screenshot from a movie or music video that has the exact color palette or fit you're after helps way more than just browsing random inspo boards. Once you have that concrete image, it's way easier to figure out what pieces you already own that can work or what you actually need to buy (instead of just buying random stuff that looks good on the mannequin).
