My lip filler migration story... not cute
So I got lip filler done about 3 months ago at a place in Austin and everything seemed fine at first. Then last week I noticed this weird little bump above my lip line on the left side. I thought it was a cold sore at first but it wouldn't go away. Went back to the injector and she said it was filler migration. She dissolved it with that enzyme stuff and now my lip looks all wonky and uneven. Has anyone else had migration happen even with an experienced injector? I'm scared to try again.

Oh man that sucks so bad! I had the exact same thing happen with my lips last year, migration on one side and the dissolving made everything look super lumpy for like two weeks. Give it some time to settle before you judge the final result, and if you do try again go way less volume and wait at least 6 months.

Wait till you see what happens if you get them dissolved too fast. I knew a girl who had hers dissolved twice in three months and it damaged the tissue under her skin. Now she has these weird little dents when she smiles that won't go away. Her injector basically said she burned through her natural collagen from rushing it.
