My filler dissolved in under 6 months and I'm not even mad about it

Last week I was looking at photos from a wedding I went to in March, and I realized my lips looked completely different. I had gotten a syringe of hyaluronic acid filler at a clinic in Denver back in January, and by the looks of it, it's almost all gone. Three years ago, I would have been furious and called the clinic demanding a refund, thinking they used a bad product. Now, I see it as my face telling me what it actually needed, which wasn't much. The process itself was fine, but the result fading so fast saved me from getting stuck in a cycle of chasing a look that wasn't really me. I spent about $650 for something that was basically a six-month experiment. Has anyone else had filler dissolve quicker than expected and found it was actually a good thing in the end?

Totally get what you mean, @harper_smith. Reminds me of when I spent months trying to copy a specific style and just ended up with a closet full of stuff I never wore lol.
