Chicago injectors are just salespeople who upsell you on nonsense.

Walked into a shop downtown a few years back for a simple oil change and left with a new air filter, wiper blades, and some fuel system cleaning I didn't ask for. The guy spent twenty minutes explaining how my car was about to fall apart without it all. Drove out feeling like I got taken, but the car ran fine without half that stuff for another year.
