Had to choose between a nose job and filler for my bump... I went the weird route

So I've got this little bump on my nose that's bugged me for like 5 years. My doctor in Austin said I could either get a full rhinoplasty for $8,000 or just do $600 worth of filler to smooth it out. I picked the filler because I'm scared of surgery and recovery time. But here's the thing... the filler actually made my nose look wider and now I'm regretting it a little. Has anyone else tried filler for a bump and ended up hating it?

I actually READ somewhere that filler for nose bumps is kind of a gamble because it just fills around the bump instead of actually removing it. Like you said, it can make the whole area look wider or even puffier if you don't have the right skin type. I remember a beauty forum post where a woman said her filler migrated after a few months and made her nose look lopsided. Honestly $600 seems cheap compared to surgery but maybe you got what you paid for in terms of the doctor's experience. I'd be TERRIFIED of the bump looking worse over time too. Hope yours settles okay, but I'd probably save up for the real deal later.

Buddy of mine had that happen, filler made his nose look worse after a few months.
