Took me 6 years to figure out I was laying subfloor upside down
I was installing 3/4 inch plywood in a house near Boise and kept wondering why the crown was always fighting me. A buddy from the framers crew walked over and asked why I had the good side facing down. I checked the stamp on the next sheet and realized the directional arrow was the whole game, not the smooth face. Has anyone else had a simple markup that changed how you install a whole material?
