Hot take: I was measuring crown molding from the wrong corner for 8 years
A guy named Ray on a job in Toledo asked why my miter cuts kept coming up 1/8 inch short and I just shrugged it off like always. Turns out I'd been measuring from the wall corner instead of the ceiling corner the whole time, which sounds dumb but nobody ever corrected me. Anybody else have a habit you picked up early that nobody called out for way too long?
