That week in 2018 when three jobs fell through on the same day

I was framing a basement in Denver and the homeowner canceled mid-week because his financing fell apart. Then the lumber yard said my delivery got bumped to Friday, and my helper called in sick with the flu all in one afternoon. Has anyone else had a run of bad luck like that where you just had to walk away for the day?

Man when that helper cancels AND the delivery gets bumped on the same day you just know the universe is messing with you. I had a Monday once where two inspections failed back to back and my truck broke down on the way home, had to just sit in the parking lot for ten minutes.
