Switched from the cheap big box caulk to the pro stuff, no regrets

I used to buy whatever silicone was on sale at Lowe's, figured caulk is caulk. Then a guy on a job site in Austin made me try the $9 a tube brand and it didn't crack in the bathroom after 4 months. Has anyone else noticed that price gap actually shows up in the final look?
