Why does nobody talk about how drone surveys actually saved our schedule on the Phoenix site last quarter?

I was sure the drone hype was just for show, but after it caught a foundation misalignment we missed on a 12-acre lot, cutting rework by three weeks, I'm a total convert.

Glad you saw the light. Drone surveys aren't just hype, they're a basic tool now. What other jobs do you think they're best for?

I think I saw something about this in the news last year where a drone got lost over a mountain in Colorado and they had to send in a whole separate rescue team just to find the drone. That seems counterproductive if you ask me. Plus those things are expensive and fragile, one bad gust of wind and you're out a few thousand dollars of equipment on top of still needing to find the real person. I'm not convinced a small camera flying around is going to spot someone under a tree or in a crevice better than a trained person on the ground. Feels like a lot of hype for something that just adds another layer of problems.
