We let a client pick paint colors after drywall was up

Now we're sanding and repainting three units. This set us back a week and a half.

Why do clients always wait until after the work is done to change their minds? Letting them pick paint once the drywall is up is like asking for a time machine to undo all your effort. @lily_stone76, your story about the bought paint is so relatable, since they never speak up until the money is gone. We finish the job, they see it in person, and suddenly the color is all wrong, so we grind through sanding again. That week and a half delay really adds up with extra costs and tired crews. Next time, maybe we should just hand them a brush and let them do the repaint themselves.

What were they thinking? We had a client change their mind after we already bought the paint, and it threw our whole timeline off.
