That time I misread the blueprints on a duplex in Cleveland

I was running a crew on a 20-unit duplex build and thought the kitchen island dimensions were 48 inches. Turned out the prints called for 60 inches and I didnt catch it til the cabinets showed up. We had to rip out the subfloor and move some plumbing by 12 inches, cost us an extra day and a half. Has anyone else had a blueprint reading mix up that set the whole schedule back?

Print them out big and tape them to the wall where you can see them every day... saved my butt on a few jobs after I learned the hard way like you did.

Misread the blueprints on a duplex" could be the title of my autobiography. I once measured a closet 18 inches too narrow and we had to frame it twice.
