Struggling with a sub who keeps missing deadlines on a school project in Austin
Last month, the concrete crew was a week late on the foundation pour for a new elementary school... it's holding up the whole steel package. Their excuse is always crew shortages. How do you guys handle a sub that's consistently behind schedule?

That foundation delay is a bigger deal than drywall. A week late on concrete means the whole critical path is shot, not just the finish work.

Tell me about it. My drywall guys pulled the same thing last spring, always blaming supply issues. Ended up costing me two weeks on the punch list.
