Realized I was scheduling subs all wrong after a drywall crew sat for 3 hours
Been running small jobs for 7 years and always had framers come at 8am, then electrical at noon. Last month an electrical crew showed up at 10 instead of 12 and I had to pay a drywall crew to stand around waiting. Took that one screwup for me to see I needed to pad my schedules with 2 hour gaps between trades. Anyone else ever get burned by back-to-back timing like that?
