Picked the beat-up jobsite trailer over the fancy new one, and the crew won't let me forget it
Had to choose between a $3,400 used trailer with a working AC and a $9,800 new one that looked sharp but had zero storage for our tools. I went with the old one, figuring the crew would rather be cool than impressed. First week in, the door latch broke and the whole thing smells like diesel when it rains. Now every time we pull onto a site in Dallas somebody cracks a joke about my "budget palace." Anybody got a good fix for a stubborn trailer latch, or should I just eat the cost and upgrade?
