Picked a $700 drone over a $400 one for site surveys, wish I'd gone cheaper
The cheaper one kept losing GPS lock near the steel frame on the 5th floor of that Bellevue job, so I splurged on the RTK model... turns out the real bottleneck was me re-flying the same shots twice anyway. Anyone else burn money on fancy gear that doesn't fix the actual workflow?

Used to swear by maxing gear, but yeah, fancy stuff can't fix lazy re-shoots.
