Found a simple trick for coordinating sub contractors on a small build

I kept getting delays because the electrician and plumber would show up at the same time on a house reno in Phoenix. After 3 tries I started giving each one a strict 2 hour window for their arrival time instead of just a morning slot. Has anyone else tried a staggered schedule like this for a small crew?

Honestly giving them a strict 2 hour window is smart, though you might want to add a 15 minute grace period on both ends. Builders get stuck in traffic here in Phoenix pretty often. Do you text them the night before as a reminder?

Oh @kelly.emma the traffic thing is real here in Phoenix but actually a lot of builders around here park their trucks at the site overnight so they don't get stuck in that mess. I'd still do the night before text though just to double check they're not running behind.
