A messed-up lunch delivery set our project back a full day

We had a big foundation pour planned for this past Wednesday. I ordered box lunches for the crew to eat on site and keep moving. The catering company sent the food to the wrong job site address. By the time it arrived, we had missed our window for the pour. What's the best way you've found to handle food for the crew on a tight schedule?

Oh yeah, I've totally been there. I mean, you gotta make a big pot of something like chili or stew that you can reheat later. Throw in some cheap veggies and beans to stretch it out. Maybe have it with rice or a piece of bread to make it more filling. I sometimes do this with pasta too, just make extra for dinner. Idk, it's not fancy but it gets you through the day without spending more cash.

Right? It's wild how much we're all trying to stretch things now. I see it everywhere, like my friend watering down her dish soap to make it last or my dad adding extra pasta to a jar of sauce to feed three people instead of two. It feels like a whole new skill, getting through the week without another trip to the store.
