Warning: I paid $200 for a "leaked" JFK file bundle at a gun show in Abilene

Last month I was at a gun show in Abilene and a guy at a table had a folder labeled leaked JFK files for $200. He said it was stuff the government never put online and that he only had a few copies. I paid cash and took it home, then spent about two weeks reading through it. Half of it turned out to be old newspaper clippings, and the other half I found online for free in about 20 minutes. I felt pretty dumb, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has been burned at these shows. What do you do to tell real docs from a $200 stack of printouts?
