Tuesday that felt like a setup after everything went right for 6 hours
Last month I had a day where traffic parted like the Red Sea, my boss approved my PTO in 5 minutes, and I found a $20 bill on the sidewalk all before lunch. Then my alternator died at a red light on the way home and cost me $450 to replace. Has anyone else had a day that was suspiciously good only to get smacked down hard?

honestly though, i think days like that are the universe's way of balancing itself out. like if you get too many good things in a row, something has to give. the alternator dying wasn't a punishment, it was just the bill coming due for that $20 and the easy PTO. kinda like how you can't just coast on goodwill forever without paying it back somehow.

Always have a backup battery pack handy for mornings like that.
