The park bench near my bus stop grew a new armrest overnight
I swear to you, I take the 47 bus every morning at 7:15. Same bench for two years. Last Tuesday the armrest on the left side was totally busted, just a jagged metal stub. Wednesday morning I roll up and it's a full new armrest, painted shiny green. No workers around, no trucks, no cones. Checked the bolts, they're definitely fresh. My buddy thinks the city snuck a crew in at like 3 AM. I'm not buying that, nobody works that fast without leaving a mess. What do you think, some guerrilla bench repair crew operating in the dead of night?
