My uncle swore the moon landing was faked and told me to look at the shadows

Honestly, at a family BBQ last summer, my uncle Mike spent like an hour telling me the Apollo 11 footage was all shot in a studio. He specifically said, 'Look at the shadows, they're all wrong, they come from different light sources.' So I went down a rabbit hole for about three days watching debunking videos and reading NASA docs. Tbh, the shadows thing is actually explained by the moon's rough surface and low sun angle, not multiple lights. It made me realize how one piece of bad advice can send you looking in totally the wrong direction. Has anyone else had a family member push a conspiracy that you ended up fact-checking into the ground?

Wait, like what kind of stuff does she think they're putting in it?

Chemtrail theories have been around since the 90s. They usually point to normal airplane contrails, which are just ice crystals. In my experience, once people see the science behind how clouds form, it makes a lot more sense.
