My uncle swore off moon landings for 20 years, then a guy at his VFW hall said one thing that flipped him
My uncle has been calling the moon landing fake since I was a kid, has the whole speech memorized. Last week a retired Air Force guy at his VFW hall in Wichita asked him one simple thing: if the whole thing was staged, why did the Soviets, who were tracking us the entire time, never once call it out? My uncle had no answer and sat there quiet for a minute. He's not fully turned around but he actually went home and read about the tracking stations that night. Curious if anyone here has a go-to fact that actually gets through to somebody instead of just starting a fight.
