My buddy bet me $50 I couldn't go a week without watching flat earth videos, and the thing that actually broke me was a documentary about birds
So my friend Dave thinks the moon landing was filmed in a warehouse in Burbank, and last Tuesday he bet me 50 bucks I couldn't go seven days without clicking on any conspiracy video. I made it to day five, then a thumbnail about why birds aren't real showed up in my feed and I caved at 11pm like an idiot. The wild part is that for two days after, I caught myself side-eyeing pigeons outside my shop in Tulsa, which is nuts because I know birds are birds. Dave says the bet still stands since I cracked, but now I'm wondering how many people actually fell down that bird rabbit hole for real. Does anyone here have a topic that got them sucked in even though they knew it was nonsense from the start?
