I just hit 100 hours of listening to flat earth debates
I used to think it was all nonsense, but hearing the same three points about perspective and horizon lines over and over actually made me check the math. I spent a weekend with a laser level and a long stretch of road. What's the most common 'proof' you've seen that actually holds up to a simple test?

Ever check how boat hulls disappear before the mast?

Have you ever tried measuring it yourself with a decent pair of binoculars? I did that on a fishing trip a few years back and it blew my mind how the hull disappeared way before the math said it should. My buddy had a laser rangefinder on his boat and we tracked a cargo ship going past. The numbers just didn't add up to any curve or ball shape. Honestly, it was like watching a magic trick except the rules of perspective were playing tricks on us. Tbh, those horizon line theories are just people trying to force a square peg into a round hole. Ngl, once you see it with your own eyes, it's hard to unsee.

The math never works out when you actually test it. Those horizon line claims fall apart with basic tools.
