I finally stopped believing the chemtrail stuff after seeing the science firsthand

I used to be one of those people who looked up at the sky and saw those long white lines and got angry about the government spraying us. I read all the forum posts and watched the YouTube videos about barium and aluminum in the air. What finally got me to change my mind was a weather balloon launch I went to with my nephew's school in Dallas. The pilot explained how contrails form from water vapor and engine exhaust at high altitude, and she showed us the actual temperature and humidity charts from that day. I even checked some of the material lists from those old videos against real FAA reports and nothing added up. It took seeing a real meteorologist break down the numbers for me to admit I had been looking at the whole thing wrong. Anyone else have a moment where hard data just killed a belief you held for years?

Totally get that. Had a buddy who swore up and down it was poison until he got a job with the weather service and saw how those flight path maps actually work.
