Flat Earth math vs actual GPS, one of them is lying

I sat down last saturday with a flat earther friend in Columbus and tried to plot a flight path using their map model, the distances were off by like 40% compared to what the airline logs show. Then we pulled up the same route on a globe model and everything matched down to the mile, but he said GPS is rigged by the government. How do you even argue with someone who trusts a paper map over a satellite that guides planes safely every day?
